LinuxSampler demo

Sunday, October 12th, 2008

I use LinuxSampler, along with other software such as Rosegarden and Ardour. It is pretty impressive what you can do with Linux audio these days. Listen to this example of Chopin’s “Fantaisie Impromptu Nr. 4″ (Opus 66), all rendered in Linux from start to finish on my computer:

More examples to come later. LinuxSampler works perfectly with VSL samples, btw.

Saturday, October 4th, 2008

Yes there are many Scott Miller’s out there who are composers and musicians! I have to specify Scott T. Miller on everything, even with BMI and ASCAP registrations. Even then, there are other Scott T. Millers within BMI/ASCAP, though we have unique registration numbers. :)
